According to the National Health and Family Planning Commission's website on the 5th, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine recently issued a "Chinese Medicine Health Management Service Standard" to require the addition of Chinese medicine health management service items in basic public health service projects this year. Each year, elderly health care services for Chinese medicine are provided, and at the same time, children's parents are given children's parents health guidance on Chinese medicine in different months of age.

According to the standard, the township hospitals, village clinics, and community health service centers (stations) that provide services for the health management of Chinese medicine for the elderly should provide one year of traditional Chinese medicine health management services for the elderly, on the basis of the identification of traditional Chinese medicine physiques. Elderly people of different physiques will have corresponding Chinese medicine health guidance from the aspects of sentimentality, diet, daily living, health care, and point health care.

The regulations require that parents of children aged 0-36 months living in their jurisdiction should be provided with guidance on Chinese children's traditional Chinese medicine diet and daily living activities, and that parents should be taught to teach their parents how to use the abdominal and chiropractic methods when they are 6 months or 12 months old. At the age of 18 months and 24 months, the methods of rubbing Yingxiang and Zusanli points were taught, and at the age of 30 months and 36 months, the methods of rubbing and squeezing the Sishencong points were taught.

According to reports, in 2013 China's per capita basic public health service funding standard was raised from 25 yuan to 30 yuan per year. While expanding the service scope of some projects and increasing the subsidy standards for some of the projects, it added a Chinese medicine health management service project.
