Method of operation

1. Preparation of bacterial solution Inoculate white staphylococcus aureus, and incubate in a 37 ° C incubator for about 12 h; heat in a water bath at 100 ° C for 10 min to kill the bacteria, and dilute to 6 × 10 8 with sterile physiological saline.   Bacteria/ml spare;

% of phagocytic cells = the number of cells phagocytized by bacteria in 100 neutrophils;

Phagocytic index = the total number of bacteria phagocytized by 100 neutrophils is divided by 100 to obtain the average number of phagocytic bacteria per leukocyte, which is the phagocytic index.
