Japan’s Sankei Shimbun reported on the 12th that a research team at Tokushima University conducted research on patients with the most breast cancer type “hormone-dependent breast cancer†in Japan. The treatment of this type of breast cancer relies mainly on hormonal drugs for up to 5 to 10 years, during which time drug resistance or side effects may occur.
Since 2010, the research team has conducted long-term drug experiments using experimental mice and found that a drug called ERAP made of peptide can effectively modulate the function of the tumor suppressor gene PHB2 and inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells.
