These biotech drugs and vaccines are in clinical trials or reviewed by the FDA. From the therapeutic perspective, there are 353 kinds of therapeutic drugs including cancer and cancer-related diseases, 187 infectious disease drugs, 69 kinds of autoimmune diseases drugs, 59 kinds of cardiovascular diseases drugs, 44 kinds of nervous system diseases drugs, respiratory diseases 40 kinds of drugs, 39 kinds of HIV infection drugs, 32 kinds of blood system diseases drugs, 28 kinds of skin diseases drugs, 27 kinds of digestive diseases drugs, 24 kinds of diabetes and related diseases drugs, 22 kinds of musculoskeletal diseases drugs, ophthalmic diseases drugs 20 There are 19 kinds of genetic diseases, 19 kinds of transplant medicines, and 5 kinds of growth disorders medicines.

The new project also includes a genetically modified virus vaccine for the treatment of melanoma, a monoclonal antibody for cancer and asthma, an antisense drug for cancer treatment, and a recombinant fusion protein for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration. According to the report, the products currently under development include: 300 monoclonal antibodies, 298 vaccines, 23 antisense drugs and 20 interferons. 78 recombinant hormone and protein products, 64 cell treatments and 50 gene therapy products, 13 RNA interference products and 10 growth factors.
