Recently, some citizens have reported that Taixing City has gradually appeared counterfeit medicines "Compound Kechuanling Capsule" and "Compound Arthritis Capsules." The Taixing Municipal Bureau immediately set up an investigation team with the public security department, conducted a thorough investigation, and went deep into the detention center. Before that, the detainees selling counterfeit medicines were investigated and the target was eventually locked in the body of Yang in Hongqiao Town of the city. After obtaining relevant clues, law enforcement officials rushed to the Hongqiao Post Office and investigated the evidence of Yang’s parcels, and then arrested Yang in a village in Hongqiao Town.

Law enforcement officers seized a total of 170 bottles of “Compound Kechuanling Capsule” and “Compound Arthritis Capsule” (marked as Rheumatoid Asthma Research Center of Taiqian County, Henan Province). Tested by the Taizhou Institute of Drug Control, these medicines are all fake medicines. The ingredients such as prednisone acetate and theophylline are serious enough to harm human health.

At present, Yang has been detained by the public security organs of Taixing City and the case is under further investigation.
