Egg prices in Hangzhou are higher than the national average. Since last August, the price of eggs in Hangzhou has continued to rise. A similar amount of hand cake prices have risen from 3.5 yuan to 5 yuan, the maximum increase reached 2 yuan.

Eggs in Hangzhou mainly come from Jiande of the province, as well as from Jiangsu and the northeast provinces. Duck eggs are mainly supplied by Zhoushan, Ninghai and Yuyao. Qian Mingru said that in the off-season supply of eggs in August, it will increase the dispatch of goods from these areas to ensure market supply. The prices of other poultry eggs have also been rising all the way. Yesterday, at a large supermarket in Qingchun Road, the minimum sales price for 6-pack salted duck eggs was 12 yuan, and the price for other brands of 6-pack salted duck eggs ranged from 16 yuan to 18 yuan.

According to the monitoring data, the price of lamb meat has risen significantly since late June. Compared with June 20, on August 7, the price of fresh boned lamb and boned lamb increased by 2.9% and 3.9% respectively. At present, the prices of bone-free fresh mutton and bone-in fresh mutton are still significantly higher than the same period of last year and are up 21.4% and 22.6% year-on-year respectively.

Since the pork price in July was lower than that in June, this once caused the market to have expectations for the turning point of the July CPI to be announced on August 9.
