clinical diagnosis

(1) Bacteriological examination: Take the diseased kidney for blood smears, Gram stain, microscopic examination did not find bacteria; kidneys were inoculated in the ordinary medium, nutrient medium, anaerobic medium, set in a 37 °C incubator No bacterial growth was observed for 24 hours.

(2) Inoculation test of chicken embryos revealed that embryonic inoculation of diseased kidneys was severely atrophic and formed typical dwarfism.

(3) Based on epidemiology, clinical symptoms, anatomical lesions, and preliminary clinical trials, this batch of chickens can be initially diagnosed with renal infectious bronchitis.

Treatment and results

Take measures: (1) Because the chickens are cold and pile up, increase the temperature by 2°C, avoid all stress, and keep the chickens quiet.
