Kunshen Sugar Network reported on April 15th, 2008 that the European Commission has proposed that the EU Commission's proposal to double the amount of extra sugar exports this year based on the initial set of 650,000 tons will be backed by member experts. Exports of sugar will be capped by the World Trade Organization (WTO) limit of 1.35 million tons.
