Corn stalk rot, also known as stem rot or bacterial wilt, is a worldwide disease that occurs most commonly on corn. The general incidence rate is 5-10%, which is severely 20-30%, resulting in severe reductions in production. The disease usually starts in the corn filling stage, and the period from the end of the milk ripening period to the wax ripening period is the peak period of obvious disease. Control methods: (1) Field health. After the corn is harvested, the residues of field diseased plants are completely removed, concentrated destruction or high-temperature fertilizer is applied to reduce the source of infection as much as possible, and deep plowing is performed after cleaning.
