Sigma centrifuge is installed correctly

a. Power supply voltage: The voltage fluctuation should meet the national standard within 10%. Otherwise, some manufacturers' centrifuges cannot operate normally. If the voltage fluctuation is above this, it is recommended to use a voltage regulator to comply with this grid.

b. The ground wire should be firmly: the wiring of the power supply of the room should meet the requirements. China is a three-phase four-wire system. The three-phase is the three-phase in the industrial power. When the three-phase electricity is used, the neutral line is separated from the ground line. More importantly, whether it is three-phase industrial power or not, the general single-phase power is good, and the ground line should be reliable to avoid leakage. The ground wire cannot be connected to the hot air pipe or the water pipe.

c. The ground should be flat and firm: for large centrifuges, the floor should be firm at the installation site to ensure the normal operation of the rotor of the centrifuge, and the ground should be flat and firm.

d. Find a good level: Find a small level with a correct size, open the lid of the centrifuge, find the level on the main shaft, and adjust the level of the adjusting bolts next to the four casters to find a good level. Note that one of the feet cannot be lost.

Centrifuge loading to find balance

In the design and manufacture of the centrifuge, the imbalance caused by the machining error of the rotor has been remedied by the dynamic balance test, but all centrifuges have the unloading amount of the sample.

Centrifuge manufacturers compete with other manufacturers for the large unbalance limit allowed by the centrifuge, and try to give a larger value. At this larger value, the centrifuge can be operated, but the imbalance force generated at this time suddenly hits the bearing and the bracket at n times per minute, and the centrifuge is damaged. Therefore, users should try to find a good balance and centrifuge for those expensive centrifuges, which is good for the life of the centrifuge.

Clean up the water in the centrifuge chamber

When the centrifuge is running, it uses refrigeration. Because of the moisture of the air, it is frosted in the centrifugal chamber, and after the shutdown, it is frosted into water. Most foreign low-speed large-capacity centrifuges have no drainage holes, and the water in the centrifugal chamber is more and more accumulated. At this point, the user should remove the rotor and clean up the accumulated water. When reinstalling the rotor, be sure to install it to avoid accidents.
Centrifuge broken shaft accident

The rotor is not placed well, or the sample imbalance is too large, and the centrifuge starts. Modern imported centrifuges have unbalanced protection, that is, when the unbalance amount exceeds a certain limit, the power should be automatically cut off to stop the centrifuge. However, under the above circumstances, it is already late, and a serious accident will occur. One of the malignant accidents is the broken shaft. Due to the sudden break of the shaft during high-speed rotation, the centrifugal rotor has no support, and the centrifugal machine is turned into a chaotic collision, which can make the centrifuge rotate the machine to a 270° angle. At this time, if there are staff or equipment next to it, it will cause accidents and deaths of the staff and damage to the equipment.

Centrifuge use rules

1. When the centrifuge is in the pre-cooling state, the centrifuge cover must be closed. After the centrifuge is finished, the rotor should be placed on the test bench and the residual water in the chamber should be dried. The centrifuge cover is open.

2. When the rotor is pre-cooled, the rotor cover can be placed on the platform of the centrifuge or placed on the test bench. Do not screw it on the rotor, because the rotor cover will be activated if it is accidentally activated. Will fly out, causing an accident!

3. After the screw cap is tightened, be sure to touch the gap between the rotor and the cover with your fingers. If there is a gap, unscrew and retighten until the gap is confirmed to start the centrifuge.

4. During the centrifugation process, the operator must not leave the centrifuge room. In case of abnormality, the operator cannot turn off the power (POWER), press STOP. Fill in the centrifuge usage record before pre-cooling.

Sigma centrifuge daily maintenance

1. Before the centrifuge is operated, the power should be cut off and the centrifuge brake should be loosened first. You can manually turn the drum to see if there is any bite.
2. Check for other parts of the loose and abnormal conditions.
3. Turn on the power and start the drive in a clockwise direction (usually about 40-60 seconds from the standstill to normal operation).
4. Usually, after each equipment arrives at the factory, it must be empty for about 3 hours, and it can work without abnormal conditions.
5. The material should be placed as evenly as possible.
6. Must be operated by special personnel, the capacity must not exceed the rated amount.
7. It is strictly forbidden to operate the machine so as not to affect the service life of the machine.
8. After the machine is started, if there is any abnormal situation, it must be stopped to check and repair and repair if necessary.
9. The centrifuge is running at high speed, so it is not possible to touch the drum with the body to prevent accidents.
10. The mesh number of the filter cloth should be determined according to the size of the solid phase particles of the separated material, otherwise the separation effect will be affected. In addition, the filter cloth should be installed with filter cloth.
11. The sealing ring is embedded in the drum sealing groove to prevent the material from running in.
12. In order to ensure the normal operation of the centrifuge, please rotate the parts every 6 months. At the same time, check the running lubrication condition of the bearing, whether there is wear phenomenon; 13. Whether the parts in the brake device are worn or not, and replace it severely; the bearing cover has no oil leakage.
14. After the machine is used, it should be cleaned and kept clean.
