According to Dow Jones Moscow, the Russian Customs Ministry said on Monday that raw sugar imports from Russia during the period from January to September increased 58.9% compared to the same period last year to 1.917 million tons, and the total import amounted to 1.033 billion US dollars, compared with 472.4 million US dollars in the same period of last year. The raw sugar was imported from countries other than the Commonwealth of Independent States.
