Five Common Feed Additives for Dairy Cows

1, vitamin additives. It plays an important role in the health, growth, reproduction, and lactation of dairy cows. In areas where rural roughage is mainly based on straw, the vitamin A content is generally insufficient, which not only affects the normal breeding, but also the congenital blindness of yak is increasing day by day. Therefore, green succulent feed or vitamin A should be fed. Vitamin A supplementation is 7480 IU per 100 kg body weight or no less than 18-19 mg carotene.
2, amino acids and non-protein nitrogen. According to experiments, adding 20 to 30 grams of methionine hydroxy analogues to dairy cows' diets during early lactation can increase milk fat percentage by 10%, and increase milk production. Non-protein nitrogen refers to urea, ammonium phosphate, etc., which can replace part of the protein feed, but the amount of feed should not exceed 13% of the total dietary nitrogen, and can not be used alone or dissolved in water to prevent poisoning.
3, buffer. In rural areas, raising dairy cows in pursuit of high yields generally increases the amount of fine feeds, resulting in excessive acidity in the rumen of dairy cows, inhibition of microbial activity in the rumen, and suffering from various diseases. According to experiments, dietary concentrates accounted for 60%, crude forages accounted for 40%, adding 1.5% sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and 0.8% magnesia to feed dairy cows, daily milk production increased by 3.8 kilograms per head.
4, trace element additives. Balanced diets with trace element additives can significantly increase milk production. The lactating dairy cows will be able to meet the needs of 15 mg of potassium iodide every day. Adding 5% kelp powder to the diet can increase the milk production by about 1%, and increase the cow's estrus rate and conception rate.
5. Unconventional mineral feed additives. Natural zeolite, medical stone, rare earth, etc., have unique physical and chemical properties, and contain the constants and trace elements needed by cows, not only can improve the digestibility of nutrients, but also promote the growth of dairy cows. According to experiments, dairy cows added 5% zeolite in their diets, milk production increased by 7.1%, and milk fat percentage increased by 0.2%. Each cow fed 50 to 100 grams of Maifanite daily could increase production of milk by 1 to 2.5 kg. Adding 3 grams of rare earth per day to the diet can increase milk production by 2.31 kilograms.

Ball Lenses are commonly used to improve signal quality in fiber coupling applications, or for use in endoscopy or bar code scanning applications. Ball Lenses feature short back focal lengths to minimize the distance needed from the Ball Lens to the optical fiber.
Half-Ball (hemispherical) lenses are ideal for applications such as fiber communication, endoscopy, microscopy, optical pick-up devices, and laser measurement systems.

Worldhawk can provide spherical ball lenses and half ball lenses in a range of substrates for performance in the ultraviolet to the NIR. Such as including H-K9L(N-BK7), Sapphire, CaF2, BaF2, ZnSe or custom materials upon request.
