First, to prevent the engine from overheating due to high temperatures, slow heat dissipation, can easily lead to engine overheating. If it is not properly handled and prevented in time, the power will be reduced and the wear will be aggravated. If it is heavy, the parts will be damaged and burnt tiles, sticking cylinders and other accidents will occur. If handled improperly, major parts such as the body and cylinder head will burst. The accident even hurt people.
When the engine overheats (opens the pot), the car should be parked in a shaded place immediately, unloaded and allowed to idle until the water temperature drops to about 60°C, plus cold water. When opening the pan, do not add cold water to the water tank immediately, and do not open the lid facing the tank lid to prevent the hot gas from being burned or the local cold-accumulation and explosion of the cylinder block. The method of preventing engine overheating is:
(1) The engine should not be overloaded for a long time in summer and the engine cooling capacity should be reduced. If it is overloaded for a long time, the accumulated temperature of the engine will be too high and it will cause overheating.
(2) Timely replenishment of cooling water in high temperature weather, cooling water evaporates quickly, and water shortage is easily occurred. Therefore, always check for additional cooling water and eliminate leaks.
(3) Ensure that the cooling system is in good condition To maintain the normal state of the cooling system, pay attention to the following adjustments and maintenance: (1) Adjust the tightness of the fan belt in time to prevent the belt from slipping and reducing the cooling effect. 2 Remove cooling system scale. When it is about to enter the summer, it is necessary to carry out the maintenance of scale removal once.
(4) Adjustment of valve clearance In summer, it is necessary to adjust the valve clearance in a timely manner, in particular to maintain the normal clearance of the exhaust valve, to prevent valve opening due to wear and increase the valve clearance becomes smaller, resulting in large exhaust resistance, exhaust emissions are not The net causes the engine to overheat.
(5) Remove coke deposits from the combustion chamber and remove charcoal from the combustion chamber before summer.
Second, the timely removal of cylinder head gaskets and other leakage phenomenon Cylinder leak, such as cylinder head gasket damage, or the cylinder head nut is not tightened, the exhaust gas discharge through the gap, or into the water jacket, etc. caused by the engine temperature.

Third, the replacement of oil used in summer weather will reduce the viscosity of oil, fluidity is too large, resulting in poor lubrication of the parts, increased wear and tear, even burning tile, holding shaft, pull cylinder and other accidents. Therefore, people must replace the oil with high viscosity before summer, generally using 30cA or 40cA single-stage diesel engine oil. In addition, in order to improve economic efficiency, low-grade light diesel or cheap agricultural diesel should be used in summer.
Fourth, to prevent tire burst prevention method is that the summer tire inflation pressure should be slightly lower than the standard force, while paying attention to tire rest and cooling, but must not use cold water pouring method to cool, to prevent damage.
Fifth, adjust the battery electrolyte density in summer, the electrolyte density should be reduced to 125g/cm3. As the temperature is high and the electrolyte is evaporated, the electrolyte of the upper plate may become oxidatively ineffective due to insufficient electrolyte. Therefore, we must always check the liquid level, add distilled water to supplement, but can not add electrolyte, so as not to cause increased density and damage the battery. At the same time, vent holes should be sparse to prevent bursting.
Sixth, to prevent the high temperature produce air resistance in high temperature summer heat, the oil in the tubing is easy to produce oil, water gas and block the oil. As a result, the hydraulic circuit of the hydraulic circuit may be raised or lowered. If the brake pipe is air-blocked, a brake failure will be formed. If the fuel pipe is air-locked, the fuel supply will be abnormal, the engine will be weak, and the engine will be extinguished.
Measures to prevent air resistance are: 1 row of oil in the net oil, often releases sediment and water in the oil; 2 often drain the gas in the pipeline to avoid failure; 3 to avoid the tubing, etc. in the prone position, set the cover to prevent sunlight Prolonged sun exposure; 4 Eliminating leaks in the pipeline to prevent gas from entering the tubing; 5 Keep the tubing away from exhaust, engine, and other heat sources.
Seven, to prevent the wear and tear of the parts, the high-temperature oil has good fluidity and is easily lost on the friction surface. Especially when the locomotive is parked for a long time, the residual oil on the surface of the machine is almost streamer. When it starts, it has dry friction and wear increases.
The prevention method is: Before the start of summer, it is more necessary to shake the crankshaft so that it can eliminate the dry start. For a locomotive that only stops for one night, the crankshaft can be cranked for 20 rounds. The long-disabled, newly-purchased, or maintenance-protected engine should be shaken at least 100 times in order to eliminate dry-up starting.
