First, the electronic balance

Do not drop or collide with the instrument to prevent damage to the optical components and affect accuracy.
There should be no hard impurities in the test sample. When testing the solid sample, the surface of the refractive prism should be prevented from being pulled or indented. After use, it is strictly forbidden to wash directly into the water to avoid water in the optical system. Open the prism and wipe it dry with the lens paper. Under no circumstances should anything other than the lens paper be touched to the prism to avoid damaging its optical plane. The instrument should be stored in a place that is dry, dust-free, oil-free, and free of harmful, flammable, explosive, etc., to avoid corrosion or mildew of optical parts. Optical instruments are prone to oil stains, water-wet dirt, fingerprints, etc. during use, affecting imaging and light transmittance. Clean the prism of the refractometer, the mirror of the plane, and the lens of the microscope, first wash it with distilled water. If the mirror surface is stained, it can be washed with a mixture of ethanol and ether. When cleaning, use a special lens paper or cotton ball with a small amount of cleaning agent, wipe it in one direction, and make a circular motion from the center of the lens. Do not soak the lens in the cleaning agent. Do not wipe the lens cleanly, otherwise it will scratch the AR coating and damage the lens. After cleaning, wipe it with lens paper and keep it away from light.
