Shiitake Winter and Spring Management
The winter and spring management of mushrooms is the management of the fruiting period. This period determines the economic benefits of the mushrooms. Before the mushroom is harvested, the mushroom shed should be built first, and two sheds can be adopted. One is to cultivate small mushrooms and the other to cultivate lentinula. Mushroom shed should choose flat, convenient irrigation and drainage, high dry sunny, near the place where pure water, concentrated shed construction, easy to feed and discharge management. The specifications for the fruiting period are 3.2-3.4 meters wide and 2.2-2.4 meters long. A shed can hold 2000 bags. The most suitable temperature for mushroom development is about 15°C, with vertical and horizontal growth. The mushroom body is well-balanced. The suitable humidity is 85%, and the light is mainly scattered light. When the mushrooms are harvested, they are ventilated in the morning in the early winter and early spring, and ventilated in the deep winter from 12 noon to 4 pm. When the temperature is high, the ventilation time is longer; when the temperature is low, the time is a little shorter, and the air and humidity in the shed must be kept fresh. The straw shed must be covered above the shed. Mushrooms produce different mushroom species at different stages of the mushroom life. When the cap diameter reaches 2-2.5 cm, they produce chrysanthemum petals. This mushroom has the best quality and the highest price. When the diameter of the cap reaches 4-5 cm, a poor quality shiitake mushroom is formed. The optimum temperature for mushroom cultivation is 8-18°C, which requires a relatively large temperature difference. The pre-humidity is 65%-70% and the later period is 55%-65%. Cultivation of mushroom needs strong light and high humidity, otherwise it will form dried mushrooms inside. The standard for moving mushroom bags from a mushroom shed to a mushroom shed is as follows: The diameter of the mushroom larvae is 2-2.5 cm. In winter, sunny breeze is the best weather for mushroom cultivation. In the early winter and early spring, the mushroom can be uncovered in the evening and in the morning. It is advisable to remove the film from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the early winter and cover the film at night. China Agricultural Network Editor
