Cardinal Coral, alias Silver Dragon, Ocean Coral, Slipper Flower, Euphorbiaceae Cardinal. Cardinal coral hi warm, drought-tolerant, fertility optimum temperature 23 °C to 30 °C. After being frozen, the leaves will turn white and fall off. It is shade-tolerant, and the half shade of the cultivation site is conducive to flowering, and the leaf color is more beautiful. It is afraid of the wind and is suitable for growing in a dry and windless environment. The cultivation soil should be drained and well ventilated sandy loam. Turn the pots every year or every other year. When the branches are too long, they must be supported by short or vertical pillars. The branches can be trimmed as small as possible to encourage multiple branches. During the growth period, the amount of watering should be controlled. Generally, the soil should be watered after drying. Fertilization can use organic fertilizer or a small amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium fertilizer. In the winter, it is necessary to reduce the supply of fertilizer and water. Cardinal coral reproduces with cuttings. The cuttings are available throughout the year in the greenhouse, but it is better to insert them in the warm season. Take stem tips or tender stems, cut into 10 cm long stem segments for cuttings. The cuttings should be air-dried first, or the incisions should be inserted into dry ash or dry soil so that the juice is absorbed and then cut. The medium can be yellow sand, perlite, or ash. After the cuttings are rooted, they can be transplanted into pots.
